The police chief in Litchfield has been arrested
LITCHFIELD, N.H. (AP) — The police chief in Litchfield has been arrested on charges he sexually harassed a subordinate. Chief Benjamin Sargent, 43, was charged Thursday with official oppression, a misdemeanor. The alleged crime happened between Dec. 31, 2021, and Jan. 1, 2022, the attorney general’s office said. Sargent is due in court Jan. 12. There was no answer Thursday at a phone number listed for him in Hudson.
