Craftsbury Man Identified as Victim in Warren Car Fire
Vermont State Police have identified the Craftsbury man whose body was found inside the wreckage of a burned car last month. Police say a passerby reported the fire in a parking area on VT Route 100 in Warren at about 11:30 a.m. on February 17. Firefighters arrived at the scene and put out the blaze. They found a body in the driver’s seat who has now been identified as Jeremiah Wild, 29. The autopsy determined his cause of death to be thermal burns and smoke inhalation. The manner of death is still classified as undetermined, although police continue to say it is not considered suspicious.
