Christmas has come early to Littleton residents

LITTLETON — As towns begin to set their tax rates, Christmas has come early to Littleton residents in the form of a reduced municipal rate. On Thursday at the Community House, the Select Board met to set the 2023 rate, which still must be approved by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration. The first tax bill is set to be issued in December followed by the second in April. For the overall tax rate, the use of reserve funds will drop the 2023 rate from $21.34 to $20.69, which represents a reduction of 65 cents that includes the town, county ($1.88), local education ($11.71), and state education ($1.62)
