As crews work to repair damage to state and town roads

As crews work to repair damage to state and town roads and some OHRV trails from the July 2024 floods, money has been approved to help pay for damage to OHRV trails in upper Coos County from the flooding in 2023. On Aug. 30, the New Hampshire Governor and Council approved $288,861 for the Great North Woods Riders ATV Club in Pittsburg. The council also approved $135,424 for the North Country ATV Club in Stratford. The money is a trail maintenance grant requested by the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation and the Bureau of Trails. It is coming from the American Rescue Plan Act federal stimulus funding.
