American Performance Polymers, a manufacturer of nitrile exam gloves and dipped rubber products for various industries
American Performance Polymers, a manufacturer of nitrile exam gloves and dipped rubber products for various industries that launched in 2018 in Colebrook and has received millions of dollars in federal contracts, is down to a skeleton crew and owing the town in back taxes and ARPA money. Its owner, however, said he’s confident that operations will be revived through new contracts. In April, the Select Board discussed APP owing the town some American Rescue Plan Act federal stimulus funding. Two months later, as of early June, the money is still owed. As of this week, APP, in addition to the ARPA funding, owes the town a total of $77,259.95 in back taxes from 2022 and 2023 and a total of $15,297.95 in unpaid sewer and water fees.
