A Vermont driver arrested in Canada allegedly told police

A Vermont driver arrested in Canada allegedly told police he’s not sure how he ended up there. The Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to a report of a truck stuck in a drive-thru in Cobden, a township in Ontario, that’s more than 3.5 hours from the border. It happened early Thursday morning. Police say the truck had flat tires and the driver, Roger Church, 52, of Milton said he didn’t know where he was and thought he was still in the U.S. Police say Church didn’t stop at the border. He was charged with driving while impaired and is being held for a bail hearing.
