A Newport Center man is in jail for alleged crimes committed at a Lawson Road residence

A Newport Center man is in jail, held on $1,500 bail, for alleged crimes committed at a Lawson Road residence on Saturday night. Daniel Bolio, 37, is facing charges of burglary, unlawful mischief, criminal threatening. According to a report by Trooper Richard Berlandy, Bolio entered the Lawson Road residence and vandalized the property. He then reportedly threatened the occupant when exiting the residence. The victims were Daniel Belisle, 58, and Wyatt Willis, 36, noted Trooper Berlandy. Bolio was arrested and taken to the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing. He was then lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday in Orleans Superior Court.
