ST. JOHNSBURY — A local organization whose specialty is helping people make home improvements recently helped itself with an improved home. Northeast Employment and Training Organization Inc. (NETO) has purchased property at 4622 Memorial Dr. to locate its office, equipment and supplies. NETO provides weatherization services to income-eligible residents of the Northeast Kingdom to bring about efficiency, resulting in lower heating and utility costs. NETO has a St. Johnsbury location and a Newport location from which crews address weatherization needs at local residences. In St. Johnsbury, they are currently renting space from Ernie Thurston and Bill Dimick at 1306 Memorial Dr.
