A Dalton contractor is serving 2 to 4 years in New Hampshire State Prison
A Dalton contractor — who in a separate case is serving 2 to 4 years in New Hampshire State Prison for stealing tens of thousands of dollars from customers — and his wife have been charged with attempting to hide a gun to impede an investigation. As their case pends, court records state that Jaime Deforge, 45, who ran Twin State Mobile Home Repair and Remodeling, wants his guns back. On Feb. 23, 2023, in Dalton, prosecutors said Jaime Deforge, while believing that an investigation was pending or about to be launched by New Hampshire State Police, instructed Karen Deforge to remove a gun from his motor vehicle with the intent to impair the investigation. Both Deforges are scheduled to be arraigned at Coos Superior Court on May 6.
