Fox Memorial Chapel Honors Regional First Responders

GILMAN — The Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel & Museum held its first First Responder Appreciation Ceremony on Saturday, September 26, bringing together first responders from communities throughout the region for a morning dedicated to recognizing their courage, compassion and service. Representatives of Concord Fire Department, Lunenburg Fire Department, Dalton Fire Department, Whitefield Fire Department, Grafton County Dispatch, Lunenburg Rescue, Twin Mountain Fire Department, Beecher Falls Fire Department and the Essex County Sheriff’s Department were honored during the ceremony. One representative from each participating department or agency received an appreciation medallion on behalf of their unit. Fox granddaughters Lisa Hirbour and Susan Fisk presented the medallions on behalf of the Rev. George L. Fox Memorial Chapel & Museum.
