Grafton County Nursing Home Selected to Test New Resident Safety Technology

The Grafton County Nursing Home is eyeing new upgrades and new technology and has been chosen as a trial county in New Hampshire to test out a new kind of ambient noise listening device manufactured in England to improve resident safety.

During the Grafton County Commission’s meeting in early September, Craig Labore, the nursing home administrator, said he’s been in talks with representatives of the company EARZZ and with Sara Valli of the University of New Hampshire’s assisted technology program to conduct the trial.

The manufacturer of the device used in nursing homes in Britain is seeking to expand into the United States and has been in discussions with Valli to identify potential nursing homes in New Hampshire.
