Accessible Trail Opens at Lunenburg Fox Field & Forest

LUNENBURG — A brand-new accessible trail is now open for exploration, looping around the athletic fields at Fox Field & Forest. It’s shaping up to be 1,163 feet long and five feet wide, featuring a smooth ledgepack surface for everyone to enjoy. The Town is also developing a plan to improve parking access, connectivity to the lower lot, and the parking area to make getting there even easier. This new pathway complements the recently installed StoryWalk created by local Girl Scout Bella Simonds, making it smoother than ever for families to stroll, read, and enjoy the outdoors together. Volunteers from Lunenburg Outdoors: Recreation, Trails, & Tourism; and Community Events, Social Engagement, and Recreation all pitched in
