Otis Shannon Memorial Kids Fishing Derby Set for June 1 in Groveton Free Event for Ages 4 to 12
GROVETON, N.H. — Groveton Fish & Game Club invites kids age 4-12 to the Otis Shannon Memorial Kids Fishing Derby on Sunday, June 1 on the Club’s grounds (1099 Lost Nation Road, Groveton). This is a free event and pre-registration is not required. Registration is at 9 a.m., and club officials say the pond will be heavily stocked with brook and rainbow trout. Anglers will compete by age groups for prizes and fishing-gear giveaways. After the competition, kids are welcome to fish the pond just for fun.
