Wildflower Inn Proposes 27 Hole Disc Golf Course in Lyndon with Community and Business Support
LYNDON — The Development Review Board on Thursday heard a proposal to build a 27-hole disc golf course at The Wildflower Inn, with plans for community use and regional tournaments. Inn spokesman Dan Thompson presented the proposal, which would place the course near the Kingdom Trails Association (KTA) parking area and pump track. He said the course would not interfere with existing KTA trails and would require only minor landscaping around tee boxes and installation of baskets that serve as goals. Unlike previous projects at the site that drew local concern, the disc golf proposal appears to have community support. Thompson said all 27 holes already have local business sponsors, and two neighboring residents submitted letters backing the plan.
