Select Board Accepts $22K in Donated Fire Safety Equipment

LITTLETON — The Select Board on Monday unanimously voted to accept $22,000 in donated smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors and fire extinguishers. The items will soon be installed at residences in Littleton as part of Littleton Fire Rescue’s Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) home visits. Other town fire departments will also receive some. In addition to being part of the MIH program, the installation effort is also a result of a fatal fire in town in 2024 when one of the contributing causes was non-operational smoke and CO detectors, said LFR Chief Chad Miller.
