No one is seriously hurt after the Windham Town Hall was evacuated
WINDHAM, N.H. — No one is seriously hurt after the Windham Town Hall was evacuated on Tuesday due to carbon monoxide concerns, authorities said. The Windham Fire Department said it received a report of carbon monoxide alarms going off at the town hall just before 2:30 p.m. When crews arrived, officials said several people inside the building reported feeling light-headed and were experiencing headaches. After the building was evacuated, Windham Fire said six people were treated for their symptoms, including one person who was sent to Elliot Hospital for further evaluation. After airing out the building with fans for approximately 45 minutes, Windham Fire said investigators did not detect carbon monoxide inside.
