NORTH COUNTRY — Congresswoman Annie Kuster (D-N.H.) announced that she had secured $16.8 million in funding for 15 projects in New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District. Those earmarks were included in a spending package passed by the House and forwarded to the Senate, which has until Friday to approve the spending package, in order to avoid a partial government shutdown. “I’m thrilled to deliver this critical funding for community projects across New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District,” said Kuster. “From support for local police and fire departments to investments in affordable housing and expanding childcare facilities, these resources will go a long way for Granite State families. I look forward to these projects’ positive impact on New Hampshire!”
